I hear you...I just think the rush to judgment after a poor finals appearance...when the breezed through the EC wasn't rational. Yeah the Spurs mopped them...but make some tweaks and get back to work. I feel like starting over again would be exhausting...maybe when he's in his mid 30's...but not in his prime. I just trust Riley knows what he's doing more than Lebron's camp does from a basketball standpoint.

It takes more than some tweaks to come back from a beat down like that. It wasn't like someone was missing or anybody on the squad is trending upward. It would be one thing if they lost a series like last years where a bounce or rebound or shot here or there decides it. They got worked and had no answers after game 2.

Riles ain't done shyt without Magic, Kareem, Wade, Shaq, Bron, Bosh. It's not like he's been on some Spurs shyt finding Manus and TPs late in the draft or flipping George Hills for Kawhi. He's rode stars his whole career. That's not exactly a novel concept.

in my opinion like i said he should've signed for 2 more years then made a decision. I honestly don't think cleveland is better than miami if u took lebron off of both teams. Remember Miami does not have a rookie head coach, an idiot for an owner and 2 players who never even made the playoffs before. Miami only needed some tweaks while cleveland is going to have to start from scratch and learn how to play with eachother. Lebron is 29 not 23 he's going to decline quickly over the next few years. If i was him i would've seen how kyrie matured then made a choice. The spurs were vengeful and it carried them in the finals. You had nikkas playing with torn labruns and ailments just to win. Dont underestimate the revenge factor the spurs had.

The Pacers wanted revenge too and how did that work out? Plenty of teams have wanted revenge and didn't do shyt about it let alone dominate in historic fashion. Cleveland with Lebron has more flexibility and future than MIA with Lebron. Bron clearly valued flexibility and future and he got to throw in the nice tidy going home narrative as well. :yeshrug:

You're thinking too hard. He left Mia becuz them nikkas got fried in the Finals. Your comment would suggest that he would have left even if the Heats won the championship. I would have to disagree with that.

Irony because not only am I not saying or implying that I have actually said the exact opposite throughout this thread.

Lebron would rather have his lackeys around rather than having Riley in his corner making basketball decisions?
It would seem so. Even Jordan keeps an entourage of yes men as opposed to people who would've made the right basketball decisions. It's a product of being coddled for so long that valid or legit criticism is then perceived as a personal attack. The best example in my opinion is Vince McMahon.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
I predict Bosh will continue to put up better numbers and will be the Heat's best player.
Im sure he will put up better numbers, better than Wade, nah. He is not gone get those open looks everynight, nothing changed about the Bosh we saw last season and the Bosh we saw their 1st game, he was hot and his shots were droppin. Its not gone be like that every night. Until I see Bosh play more from the elbow and score on his own, I don't believe his numbers will consistently be like they were against WAS.

He should have never left then

:yeshrug:

He made his decision 5 years ago. Ppl got over it. He was with Riley who knows what the fukk he's doing...he should have stayed in Miami for life....better franchise, better management...better current team.
He can't win a ring in Cleveland in Miami.

Cleveland is younger and more talented

Bron wants to win as many titles as he can, so he wants to make sure he has more help around him than Durant, melo, etc.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
What do you mean by assets? Are you talking about players that can be traded?
If I'm not mistaken, the Heat only have Bosh and maybe one other player signed to long-term deals.
The next two Heat seasons SHOULD be very interesting.

The Heat would have just about 50 million tied up between LeBron, Bosh, McRoberts and Napier, compare that to what the Cavs have on their roster.

The Heat have no assets, as in no young players they could trade in a package (Tristan Thompson + Dion Waiters), no expiring contracts (Cavs have $16 million non-guaranteed deals for next year) and you could even point to the draft picks, the Cavs own the rights to the Grizz pick which is only top 5 protected 2 years from now. You add these things together, and the Cavs could swing for the fences and bring in another all-star caliber player on a max deal, they've already had talks with the Pacers about Hibbert, and they flamed out when the Pacers asked for Waiters in the package.

Bron wanted the Max and to go home. It's really simple. He didn't get the Max because he knew the Cavs still needed bread to have competitive team that would be just like the team he left.

Also, that Heat team is DONE. It's not built to contend with anyone in the West anymore and the Spurs proved it.

LeBron knew that. What could have possibly been brought to that team to make them able to contend with the Spurs and Thunder in the West, let alone the Bulls in the East?
