Strictly from a basketball standpoint...

First off Riley being there makes them a serious team to begin with.

He leaves the Heat with two proven players in Wade and Bosh...a legend in Riley...role players he finally got used to playing with...to go back to friggin Cleveland?

Kevin Love? Kyrie Irving? SOme scrub from St Mary's???

Call me reactionary but it still doesnt make any sense basketball wise. The Spurs are an awesome team...make some tweaks and come back better...dont run to an inferior franchise.

Lebron with Whiteside and Dragic would have been interesting and I think Wade making the commitment to play more games would have helped. East was so weak they'd probably still make it. Now I know people say "well the goal is title" but I'm not sure that happens in Cleveland this year either.

It was a close decision, looking at it now he made the right move but lets not act like there various other factors that have happened since he left, including Lebron being a GM and moving Miami's shooters.

if bosh doesnt die miami with bron would be comparible to cleveland with bron..since miami got the dragon and whiteside emerged out of nowhere

dragic/wade/bron/bosh/whiteside is solid :yeshrug:
Who knows how much wade gonna drop off at 34 years old. He is only gonna get more injury prone.

They will be way over the salary cap too

But isn't one of the reasons he made the move because he knew he would have that type of power in Cleveland. That's not "various other factors," but probably more like the key factor.

Also not really sure if the Dragic move happens if Lebron is there keeping them looking like a top seed in the east. Don't know how that would have played out.

lets wait and see how this plays out. Bosh getting the plague also changed things

the team was shytty to begin the season with everyone healthy. with lebron wanting the max, miami had no cap space and had to come back with the same team (that had no chance of beating the spurs). Their window for improving closed and were forced to sign nobodies like McBob and Granger. Wade couldn't stay on the court and Bosh was never a reliable 2nd option to win 50 games.

Cleveland had Kyrie Irving, a Kevin Love trade pending, and a ton of cap space to improve if things didnt start out smoothly. Lebron could get his money, bring his friends to the team, and win 50+ games going into the playoffs :yeshrug:

This nikka had the nerve to put a question mark by Kyrie's name and lump hi m in with some scrub from St. Marys:scust:
