Why the hell hasn't the phone improved?

When it comes to calls why is the voice reception still shyt? The phone has improved in probably every facet except for ACTUALLY SPEAKING TO SOMEONE. Why I should be able to speak someone and it sound crystal clear with the tech available and how much these damn phones are costing nowadays. Can anyone help me understand this? It's the battery and phone voice quality, shyt just never has improved.

People saying get an iphone have got to be trolling.There was a point in time were iphones were literally the worst phones on the market for actually calling someone. They've improved since then but they are by no means superior to other companies

By the way I have a gs5 for my personal and a iPhone 6 for my work phone so I'm not biased when I say android shyts on iOs...however I STAY facetiming the bae on my work phone cuz that shyt is gold. Also the messaging on iPhone is way smoother. BUT overall I definitely prefer the android experience.

If you have HD calling, sounds like the person is sitting right next to you. Usually if im on the phone with another TMobile person, and we are both on LTE, its sounds like we are talking on Skype or Facetime, but its just a regular phone call.
