He gets paid from doing shows, the pandemic showed these artist they have to hit that stage for life like slaves to get paid that's why you see many of them selling thier music catalogs.
I think you are downplaying the future of NFTs just like brehs did with bitcoin in 09'.

NFTs wont be digital art soon and then you will understand why so many ppl are investing in it.

They are going to become the onlyfans of entertainment. Its the same model

NFTs can only really be digital art and the best actual use cases for them will be video games :pachaha:

NFTs are inherently digital and they've been outside of just stupid meme art like bored apes for a while now. Nas even had a NFT where you can buy 0.0013% of one of his songs for $100

But there has been websites like that for a while that don't involve NFTs, like royalty exchange from 2011.

Blockchain/smart contacts, yeah. NFTs and the current idea of them? Nah.

I was looking earlier and it seems like this week was NFT Week in NY with a bunch of collection institutes doing private concerts for holders and a bunch of big artists came out for secet shows for NFT Holders

Bored Ape had Eminem, The Roots, Snoop, Lil Wayne, Timbaland
Dented Feels had Nas, Wu Tang etc

The value of these things maybe dropping but that clout/perks you get for holding one (Invites to private yatch parties, concerts, retreats) is still some shyt people are eating up

Not sure how its gonna go but NFT companies certaily are doubling down in the face of the crash and more brands are launching them

Again. I'm a marketer and have. A side job for an NFT company. I know what I'm talking about. It goes deeper than you think.

Just because it involvea the blockhain doesnt mean there isnt utility outside of digital efforts. There is and you'll see when i happens

So? I went to business school for marketing too.

And you evidently don't if your response is just wait and see.

We've seen the extent of NFT rewards like exclusive merch, discounted/special seats for tours, meet and greets, etc. Nothing that couldn't be done with out NFTs.

I'm guessing your side job at this NFT company (what does that even mean? You obviously don't work for openseas or any defi companies) isn't going that well anymore, huh? With the huge drop and all the exposes of the majority of NFTs literally being shifted around to artificially inflate the value or the fact the majority of people minting NFTs are spending more to mint them than the cost to buy them.

You can't just try to argue from seniority with no details or ability to expand on what you're talking about

To take it a step further I work in finance and I have yet to hear a voice with any clout who is convinced that blockchain is the future of anything important.
