whoever is doing the scheduling is on crack

the nba never did same conference games on the same time in the second round it makes no sense.

How do the cavs play every other day while the sixers and celtics got 2 days off after game 1. warriors get a 2 day break between game 2 and 3 while utah and houston got 2 days between game 1 and 2.

what they should've done is aligned the cavs raptors with the warriors pels series same with boston/ sixers with rockets/jazz

Because the Bruins are in the playoffs and the Celtics are sharing the arena with them. Bruins had a game Wednesday night, and Celtics/Sixers game 1 was on Monday. They weren't going to have them play a B2B and put the game on Tuesday, they couldn't play Wednesday because of the Bruins, so Thursday was the only other option.

The Celtics had to play tonight because the Bruins played last night.

But I thought they would put the Celts game at 6 since their last game was Monday.

You think the NBA would rather have the Celtics or Raptors home court taken away ?

Blame the Bruins for having the nerve to advance to the second round.

Regardless of game 1 they had the Raps game 2 at home at 6pm....they want to give Lebron every advantage possible...including a half empty arena for the first half...

But I thought having the game start 42 hours after the last game ended would hurt King James. Especially since he's older and is exerting so much energy.

Also, those fans will be excited. They will be there on time.
