nikkas got work. One of those games has to be early. The West coast games are later because they have to start after 5pm west coast time

Because the Bruins are in the playoffs and the Celtics are sharing the arena with them. Bruins had a game Wednesday night, and Celtics/Sixers game 1 was on Monday. They weren't going to have them play a B2B and put the game on Tuesday, they couldn't play Wednesday because of the Bruins, so Thursday was the only other option.

Not sure why all these random answers keep being given when this is the only clear explanation given several pages ago.
