Best player in the league is ultimately decided over a full season, so it did make sense for people to wait until then to see if he was better than James. What gets lost in that discussion is still acknowledging 2nd place as an all time great talent who will only build on his legacy going forward.

Warriors are way too hated right now to be appreciated, but 30 years from now I'm sure they'll be revered and the talking points this article mentioned won't be regurgitated as much.
