I know in UK you use mixed race usually (source: nine years of living there), but I thought in some other places with mixed populations it might be offensive.

Because he picked it up on here, I've never heard it in the UK. Half caste was used a little when I was a kid, but quickly deemed offensive. Everyone just uses mixed race now.

You have to understand that the reason black women are at the bottom of the beauty totem pole in western society and globally is because of the lack of power black men possess presently. (Due to the fact that societies are still run by men)

Not just theUS though, it's big in Africa, India and other countries with a significant amount of noticeable melanin in them.
