Exactly. Instead of “fighting crime” MOST police officers main objective it to do the opposite: ticket and fine law abiding citizens. All that bs about them putting their life on the line is simply statistically not true. I’m going to court now for 9 tickets that a cop gave me while going to work at 5am for what they called an illegal u turn.
