Serious public transport nationally is a huge quality of life booster. Not everyone wants to drive, not everyone wants to take flights.

It would also reduce congestion and traffic.

Extensive public transport needs to be a thing in every country/city on Earth.

Driving is nice but just getting on a train for a couple of hours to a long destination sometimes (get the Steamdeck out) is nice as fukk. Instead of driving the same kinda hours.
