Why the US has the most pro-Israel foreign policy in the world

Good read @BarNone. The shared values route IMO is one of the most important aspects of the situation. Israel is in essence Americas little brother in the same way that the US would have been to Britain had it not been for the revolution. Shared interests, cultures, histories, etc. People take care of their own, or those they perceive to be their own. Thats why I rally hard against Hamas, Hezbollah, and the other "freedom fighter" groups. They don't share American values and tend to be anti-American, and not solely because of American support of Israel. I take issue when American posters ride out for groups of people that despise everything America stands for. Its ludicrous in my mind to support an enemy of America solely because they are oppressed persons.

I am not callous enuff or stupid to think the american way of life and democracy should be shoved down other countries throats by the barrell of a gun....
I was in the air force and lived all around the world Saudi, Italy, Germany..most americans havent even stepped foot outside of this country....

You're right that it shouldn't be shoved down the throats of those that don't want it. Thats the point that makes Israel more essential to the USA. They DO share a lot of similar values. They DO believe the American way of life is the best or one of the best. They DO defend American interests when needed or asked (See Iraq nuclear site bombing). Its always good to have fresh perspectives but when those perspectives turn into anti-West rhetoric, then its gone too far. My opinion on it is if you live in America while posting stuff that implies or directly affirms your anti-West stance, then you should move elsewhere or shut up. As Americans we have the freedom of mobility so if you don't like where you live, you can always go elsewhere.

Canada is peaceful and mainly neutral. They aren't polarizing like Israel and they do not need the attention or support at this moment. If Canada went to war with any enemy of America, you would see support at or above Israeli levels IMO.
