all my nikkas 30+ whats yall saving money tips?

Keep your overhead low....

The problem is when you start making more...you start upping your expenses...I can easily blow $100 a night in the club where as when I was in college...I used to only try to blow maybe $20

Dont buy ridiculous clothes with all kinds of logos on them....shyt will be played in a year or 2

DONT get a car note unless you have to or you have a roomate or a live in girlfriend that is also paying bills....

I paid off my truck last spring...one of the best feelings I ever had...because I have had car notes since I was 17 :snoop:

its hard to believe that 2006 was over 6 years ago :ld:

its like 1996-2002 were like the longest years of my life while 2006- 2012 was a fukking blur. :what:

i'm already 24 and it doesn't feel like i've been in my 20's for that long. i'm damn near reaching the half way mark :guilty:

I dont want to be old :sadbron:

Because going to school every day is boring whereas being on your own is not.

That was the first thing I was going to tell him.

Breh...don't EVER finance a vehicle...it's not worth it.

When you get a raise/promotion keep your same standard of living and save/invest the difference. On that same note, make surey you have an emergency fund.

If you're a coupon person, watch that carefully. Only clip coupons for stuff you was going to buy anyway. Lots of people use coupons for shyt they otherwise wouldn't have bought. The money spent would outweight whatever saving you got.

Stack as much as you possibly can, I've been stacking for nearly five years and trust me it's worth it.

2-3k is a good starting point. I cant lie...I blow alot of money but I dont do anything that would cause me to have to ask anyone for any sort of assistance. Its been like that for nearly 10 years. Thats how you want to be. Even if you dont have any real money stacked up...if you spending less than you making you will be good.

Stacking money isnt that important spend it and have fun and get nice things ur only young once. Once you save like 20k then ur all set and can not worry about money as much.

Whats the point of saving damn near all ur money to only get to 50 and get cancer or to 65 and be so old you cant even really enjoy it

Im 27 got alil saved up and now while i do save i spend too. Got a nice car,tv, apartment is decked i eat $20 meals everynight and take a nice vacation every year.

When you were 5 years old, a month was 1.7% of the time you've spent on this planet, so it seemed pretty long.

When you're 30, a month is now 0.28% of your life, so it seems to go by quicker in the grand scheme of things.

Or something haha

I hear but I would stack a little more than 20k. If I was living down south I could afford to live this way but I don't.

Your younger years are your formative years. So much growth in a short period of time. Plus there is a lot of change, every four years you're in a new school, new experiences to adapt to. When you get older, there aren't many changes year to year.

Once you get older, you coast (do the same shyt, different day) for the most part and all the days blend into each other.

true 50k-100k is ideal but even with 20k your still in decent shape if your out of work for a year or two
