Why Tuesday was a very good night for Senate Democrats
McGinty is not beating Toomey. She needed millions from the DNC to beat fukking Joe Sestak and a small town mayor.
And she isn't preferred by senate dems because she is more electable(she's currently ~10 back), she's their preferred candidate because Sestak didn't roll over and let Arlen Specter keep senate seat. Yeah he lost to Toomey by 2% in 2010(aka the great tea party wave), so did Feinstein, Hagan, and half the other people the DNC wanted to run this cycle.

I voted for John Fetterman even though I knew he had no shot of winning.
