Wouldn't that make him more inclined to invest? :patrice:
What does he owe black folks though? It's always hilarious when a black man becomes successful, people start whining that he should "give back to the community." You never hear that shyt about whites, latinos or asians.
Besides, the biggest buyers of rap music have always been white teenagers :heh:

The culture that made him rich, the community he came from and played a role in who he is now, etc. For the record my comment was a joke more than anything else. But I dunno, he can do as he'd like its his money plus I'm a Trojan football stanley but USC is a very wealthy private institution that same investment coulda helped a few HBCUs not just one.

Dr Dre's 'donation' is really an investment from a California based company he partially owns in a prominent Californian educational institution which in turn will provide worker bee's for his/their company. But why not 'donate' to such & such HBCU? Because the return on the investment would be smaller. Pretty straight forward. If it were simply a case of charity of course it would be ridiculous to donate to one of the wealthiest college's in the country, but it's not, you don't 'donate' to a college like USC out of the kindness of your heart.
