This video is powerful. It breaks down how modern "hustle &Grind " culture mixed with capitalism and forced performance is sucking the life out of people today.

This is exactly why People don't have revolutionary energy.. Even to fight against MAGA. People are too beat down and tired to rebel. It's a bit long but informative!

I wake up tired but I have a newborn and only get like 2 hrs of sleep a night :stopitslime:
No nanny? You guys could probably get one down there for less than 300 a month. One of the positives of East Africa.

Even if you're worried about missing critical moments with your new kid, a nanny could probably cover the night shift so that both of you can be fresh and alert to take care of the kid during the day.

I'm 99% sure this whole clip was AI generated. From the speech they created, to the clipart in the background.

The whole channel was basically created out of thin air two months ago.

I'm hesitant to take advice from the LLM internet void. I think the value in these types of videos used to come from them being made by somebody who was a professional , and had a career dealing with the problem in their YouTube videos. For this type of topic, I'd be expecting a sleep medicine physician, or economist , or neuroscientist, or sociologist.

But It's very demoralizing when a 20-year-old Indian tech intern or Chinese scammer can give a handful of prompts to a machine, and it's eaten up by grown people like its profound knowledge

Nah don't trust anyone like that with my kid. :heh:

We have cleaners that come every day and even those are stealing water but they only cost like 30 a month.

BINGO!!

if you are working a shyt job.... and waking up tired....and depressed

are you eating healthy?

are you going to the gym?

are you spending time meditating?

do you have a solid social circle?

are you making moves towards your dreams when you are not at work?

are you close with your family?

etc. etc.

unless you work overtime everyday.... you have 8 hrs at work, 8 hours of sleep.

that leaves 8 hours free... lets do 1 hour for travel to and from work... 2 hours eating (45mins x 3)

1 hour at the gym = 4 hours each week day to pursue what you want...

4 hours x 5 = 20 hours a week you must be wasting....

add 10 hours each day on the weekends...

thats at least 40 hours a week of free time you can spend on ANYTHING

what you do with those 40 hours is really determining whether you wake up tired or not.
