People talking about sleep apnea but I’m sure stress is the number one cause of bad sleep. Too much on your mind and that will carry over into your sleep. Too worried or anxious about something then your mind won’t be settled enough for sleep. Your body and mind supposed to be resetting and reenergizing during sleep time, not thinking

That’s my issue also and sleep paralysis. Stuff is exhausting just dealing with it. I don’t think I’ve had a full decent nights sleep in years.

Sleep paralysis is only gonna come upon waking though. All that is happening is that you are in the hypnagogic state, where your mind is awake but your body is still sleep. It’s actually a blessing and a gateway to having out of body experiences, but most people feel fear and or discomfort from it. But it is actually something positive

Wanna be overlords like Musk and Bezos and hustle culture got folks thinking burning yourself out is not only ok but something cute to aspire to. fukk that! Take time off. Clock out everyday and be firm on that...this includes emails and phone calls. Live within your means. Have a fukkin life...people you love and things to do that you enjoy. You can't take any of this shyt with you and yo ass will be replaced before your body is cold.


If you got kids...do the best you can :francis:. Because they don't give a fukk about none of that :russ: :mjcry:.

First thing I thought of that other people brought up was sleep apnea. Medically that’s the most likely cause if you got a full 8 hours of sleep and are still wiped out.

This “hustle” self-help, right wing culture constantly gives bad unscientific advice.

Don’t trust these wannabe doctors.

Go to a doctor (a real doctor) and get that shyt checked out. Get a sleep study.

Most times a doctor will get you feeling like a human being again. Most likely these fake doctors online and people reading “studies” to tell you what to do will cause you more harm in the long run.

I can't remember the last time i woke up proper refreshed.
I work out, i eat healthu. But i also sit a lot for work and deal with a lot of stress from personal life.
I noticed it makes me more irritable and sensitive to sound especially. When i hear people yell, slam a door, play loud music i get pissed and stressed.
