I remember I went to a Wizards-Pacers game in Indy to see him play.






He had 3 points that game and I was heated.

Because people inevitably compare his time on the Wizards with his time on the Bulls. No he wasnt the same but he was still killin 'em. Dropped 40 on his 40th birthday. Had he not been on an awful team he would have been back in the playoffs.

I don't think anyone (I sure didn't) cared about what the Wizards would do as a team, I just cared about watching MJ school some young cats. But those years for me were like extras on a DVD, he was just having fun out there.

Problem with his time in Washington wasn't his play. It was the fact he was the GM and made stupid moves like trading Rip for Stackhouse and drafting Kwame... Imagine if he drafted Gasol he also drafted Jared Jeffries and Juan Dixon

He did sign Larry Hughes on the cheap though and the cap was cleared which led to Grunfeld signing Arenas. He also did get Brendan Haywood who became a solid Center for us.

1) He let the media beg Vince Carter to give up his starting spot and he took the hand out like a chump even when Vince Carter was reluctant.

2) Kobe dropped 56 on him half assing due to Phil asking Kobe to tone it down. Could have had 70 on his dome.

3) Wizards were trash

4) Traded Rip because Rip wasn't on his dikk

5) Shot 18% and and 29% from 3 in his two years in Washington and 44% and 41% from the field which leads me to believe that if he played in the era where guys like Craig Ehlo would be working concession stands, he'd be nothing more than a dark skin cheese eyes Alan Anderson.
