When it came to offense during his time in Tampa Dungy was considered clueless.. him being stoic on the sideline played into that narrative

I remember the Dungy Bucs era very well. I don't know what you're talking about.

well then you should know what Dungy reactions were when Trent Dilfer would overthrow Mike Alstott in the Flats or throw a costly interception in key moments of the game.. Dungy always had the stone face .. CACs down here used to call into the Steve Dumig show every Monday calling for him to be fired even in a win because the Offense was so inept and Dungy seemed to not give a fukk

I dont doubt that he may have some bad moments, but when you dont have a brash demeanor as a head coach, people remember the bad more. See Lovie vs Jeff Fisher. Jeff Fisher for some reason was touted as a must have head coach when he was fired and was trotted around like the next coming, with his 6 winning seasons out of 18. Lovie gets fired and its, "oh well, what really did he accomplish?" This is especially true as a brother, because you are always fighting to prove you are competent. When the first "bad timeout" happens, everybody goes

 I knew he was in over his head.

Who said that about Lovie? Plus, we're gonna act like he didn't get hired as soon as he wanted another job? He woulda been hired last offseason if he didn't want to take a year off.

Again, Dungy immediately got a job as soon as Tampa fired him. The league really had it out for him. If he said he wanted to get back into coaching, he would be at the top of most team's lists.

Let's also not act like they didn't have consecutive flame outs in the first round in Dungy's final two years in Tampa, then Gruden gets there and wins a Super Bowl the first year. :mjpls:

Damn sure is....he must know some serious secrets about the Bengals owner

No he doesn't but ask yourself this name a team with a worst run history than the bengals? And then ask yourself in the last 8-11 years who could we have gotten to come and take over as head coach? Ain't nobody trying to come to the NATi.
