Clarkson was playing out of his mind last night

Not the first time this has happened this season also

No this is not a /thread simply because a Ball stan says so
Surely a #2 draft pick can still be on the floor in the 4th to contribute someway even with someone else having a great game?:jbhmm:

He wasn't playing well and Clarkson and Brewer both had their best games of the year, simple as that.

Ball has been playing most 4th qtrs but sometimes you gotta squeeze out the win. We not tanking this year we need to get W's any way possible. Luke made the right choice.

and there was a #2 draft pick on the floor in the 4th, Brandon Ingram :gladbron:

So they could close out the game. There had been a couple other Laker games this season where they got a lead with the bench and put Lonzo back in to run point and they lost the game (Pelicans game being one and I think the Portland game was another). Couldn't score. Not saying it's Lonzo's fault but whatever offense Walton has him running in those situations sucks. The Lakers for the most part are team of gunners and once you try to run some slow methodical shyt, it takes them out of their element and they start sucking.

Nah you smack reachin

Clarkson went on his own personal run, good coaching leaves him in the game a la Harden in game 6 of the WCSF in 2015

The nikka scored 0 points in a game vs a playoff contender and they left him in, u really think 7 points vs the Suns would be the breaking point to bench him?

Facts. Zo is gonna struggle a bit in the half court, and when Clarkson is scoring efficiently and NOT committing TO's, you got to leave him out there. If Brewer wasn't playing the way he was Luke probably would've had Zo and Clarkson out there together

This isn't even the first time Zo has been benched in the 4th. IIRC it happened one other time this year, maybe the 0 point game. Surprised the media ran with it this time. Probably because he just had that triple double
