This is exactly what I was going to say. He was practically the best feature rapper of that era. He was a Tito, not a Michael.

Bleek was cold…problem was, he was the Daz of the crew - and he didn’t have the sense/hustle to do what Daz did.
He (like Daz) was originally billed as the brash, turnt up youngster.
But when their crews got bigger and better rappers came through, they weren’t “next one up” anymore.
Daz at least could still produce, and still put out music independently - you could argue he is one
of the most successful indie rappers.
Hot Take: another thing Daz did which I think helped him was go to where things were popping off.
I think Bleek shoulda did the Free Agent thing as well and went to Atlanta. I think his style of rapping
woulda been well received there. I mean, he was making Dope Boy raps. He would’ve fit right in.
