Better than 95% of the garbage ass nikkas out today

95%
Stop.

Bleek was average especially in real time.

He could never make a hit record, even tho he had a strong legendary team behind him.

They touted bleek the heir to the thrown after jay.

Dude wasn't a artist. He ain't want this shyt. It was a hustle to him. IMO

imagine giving a kid like lil baby or even a nikka like g herbo support like bleek had. shyt give it to these lil drill nikkas and see how shyt shake out.

However, he's a better rapper than whack ass current rappers today that new gen z listen to.
Bleek was cool, but he leaned on his producers and while older hip hop is hard to compare generationally because it sounds so different, he definitely cannot out rap gen z rappers if we're talking pure skill.

But is he still in Jay's will, somewhere? :lupe:
Why does he look like Jay’s uncle now?

The only thing I think would make him "wack" was his voice or presence but that's because, as mentioned, he wasn't the strongest on the roster.

Then again though how many rappers who bring their crew with them actually make it. We've seen the same shyt with Lil Wayne pushing Young Money (outside of Drake and Nikki), Eminem pushing D12, etc. Rarely if ever pops off.

The Land of fukkery
- surrounded by mediocre to mid artists and he was also one while he boss was elite
- look didn’t stand out
- voice didn’t stand out
- subject material didn’t stand out
- brought nothing new to the table
- someone had to be the St Lunatics, someone has to be Nelly. His boss was the Nelly of the crew

I thought he had next from his Jay Z snippets and features. But he didn't really grow in charisma, style, flow, presence and it kinda of seems like he didn't have the work ethic at the end of the dauy. I thought he was on his way and next on the Roc after sh*t like this

Gudda Gudda was mad underrated….not a superstar at all but should’ve been given more of a chance than someone like Nav
