That senile fukk was before my time but I'm wondering why whites love him some much. If CACs love him then he surely did some foul shyt to black people. I'm reading "The New Jim Crow" and I wanna strangle that muthaphucka. The only good thing was that CAC died a long, slow, and painful death. fukk Ronald Reagan and the CACs that love him.

Knowing all of this it speaks volumes to the character (or lack of) whites. These people worship him as if he was a god.

There are plenty of whites that think he is the devil. Not him per se, but the entire movement that came with him. Ronald was just the actor, the rest were really in control.

Gave amnesty to immigrants and took credit for Paul Volcker stabilizing the economy. Though, to his credit, he could have fired Volcker and appointed a new fed chairman as soon as he got into office.

He eventually did fire Volcker because he wasn't a deregulator. But not before Volcker got inflation under control.

Ronnie was also a lot more moderate than a lot of Republicans today, if you can believe it. He believed in private sector unions, publicly stated that social security had nothing to do with the deficit, raised capital gains taxes on the wealthiest citizens, gave amnesty to illegals, etc.

Most people hate Reagan because the tight money strategy Volcker employed cost a lot of low income people (read: black people) jobs. There's also that whole war on drugs thing.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him the worst president of all time. I think both sides of the current political spectrum misunderstand his tenure.

He really put his acting talents to work as President. He did a good job as coming off as a folksy, caring eternal optimist who made people feel safe.

This is the only chart you ever have to see about Reaganomics:

The worst thing about it is the "progressive party" keeps it alive and well.

Yeah this chart speaks volume about Ronnie. The unbridled greed of the eighties and its destructive force on society is personified by Ronald Raegan. Hate him or love him, he is definitely one of the most influential presidents ever, on a level with FDR. It's just unfortunate his policies mostly benefited the wealthy at the expense of the working man.
