how did yall dudes do it back in the day? you need superhuman reaction time for some of these games

its because todays generation has ADD and want instant gratification and dont want to 'waste their time' by mastering something

devs are too afraid of kids getting stuck and getting another easy game instead of beating a challenge

I said the same thing when I booted up Double Dragon 3: The Sacred Stones. I use to routinely make it very far into the game. Learned very quickly I only had one life by dying on the 1st stage and having to start all back over.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors gets harder as you go it has mad levels to it.

Breh I don't think I ever trully beat a game back in my sega genesis days.

I went back one day and tried to beat one of those xmen games using an emulator ( 2nd one I think). Was dam near impossible without cheat codes, and me saving evry 5 minutes.

Them games back then werent made to be beaten






But the fun I had

Alot of games in the NES era were actually broken and shouldn't have been released.

And games like Double Dragon 3, Gauntlet and The OG Mega Man while good were fukking frustrating as shyt.
