its because todays generation has ADD and want instant gratification and dont want to 'waste their time' by mastering something

devs are too afraid of kids getting stuck and getting another easy game instead of beating a challenge

I remember when I tried play to Streets of Rage 3 again with my cousin like we did in the old days. He was doing alright but I sucked so bad
And I was so pro at the game when I was kid
we tried Double Dragon too and same thing
And X-men

It has been a long time on my end.

but the reason for this is 2 fold.

1. You a grown ass man, if the game that hard, you take gonna that shyt back or let it collect dust. nikkas got jobs and kids, fukk I look like struggling trying to get past level 4-2

2. As a kid you really had all the time in the world. So, your repetition game was gonna be epic. If you lower middle class like me you wasn't getting no 4-5 games a year, so you played whatever you had a shyt load. and if you do something a shyt load, you can study it and eventually beat it.

It's not a really old game but the producer of the OG Xbox Ninja Gaiden said in a interview that during development, playtesters complained that the game was too hard for them.

So he made the game even harder.

I played so many NES games breh and I probably beat only Mario 1. It was all about repetition, those games were so fukked up I'm not sure the thought of beating them crossed my mind.
