Michael Jackson. When Thriller came out and Mike was rocking that jheri curl we all just followed thru. I was in kindergarten and everyone wanted one because Michael had it. Mike had everyone doing the moonwalk. Mikes influence was a phenomenon unlike anything seen in this era. When NWA were rocking it, it was played out around that time but it just went to show how strong of an influence Mike had because it affected the fathers of gangster rap.
