Krit made an album that was unlike his tapes, which is what got us paying attention in the first place. Krits appeal to me was he was so southern but he was against the grain of being dumbed down. He was always above average with his music. Compare these garbage songs to songs like Hometown Hero. Big fukking falloff. These hooks are bad to the point where the track is unlistenable. This shyt is waka flocka levels of crap. A big portion of the album has this mess and as a result its hard to listen to without doing alot of skipping. I went and bought this album with higher expectations and it didn't live up too them.

These hooks may not be that bad to YOU because thats what your use too, especially if you fukk with alot music thats out now but I cant fukk with it.

I'm not making excuses for him and i could be wrong but i'm sure trying to clear samples may have stood in the way of making a better album. One of the strengths in his earlier music and mixtapes are the samples he uses which i'm sure would be a bytch to get for his album. Sample or not, i expected much more as well..

The album certainly isnt as bad as made out to be. However it was a clear step down from his mixtapes. The sampling without a doubt had a bit to do with it, he was limited on the album and the soul we all know and love was missing like mentioned.

The album was FAR from trash, it just wasn't as good as his mixtapes. He released a CLASSIC Mixtape months prior so the album pretty much HAD to be phenomenal to live up to expectations and it fell short
