based on a thread I seen in the Coliseum about Lebron.

Why are Black people who work really really hard just dismissed as being Genetically gifted or genetic freaks?:rudy: Like almost every, single black person at the top of their sport is some genetic miracle who was so "gifted" they never had to work for it.

Like who the fukk really outworked Jordan? ...Bird? GTFOH:camby:

If a black man runs fast, it's all genetics, it's like he never put any hard work in at all, he just woke up and was super fast.:aicmon:
That's because it is mostly genetics. This goes for all athletes of physical sports and all races. Not just black men.

Has anybody ever said LeBron put in zero work perfecting his game? :ohhh:

He became a better shooter just off genetics? :ohhh:

His handles got smoother off genetics?:ohhh:
This ain't just about Lebron. The same is said for Serena Williams and Venus Williams. They try to dismiss the work by just putting it down the athleticism. They never said the same for any other female tennis players who were white and dominanting.

People talk about Lebron being only a great athlete all the time:francis: but never talk about how hard he works to get there.

I think you understand my point and I get the argument you trying to make too

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's 80% genetics, 20% hard work.

Anybody who played ball in hs knows at last one friend they know who played ball from morning till night, always walked with a basketball in his hand and he never even made it to division 1 NCAA ball, let alone the NBA.

He either didn't have the height or athleticism. No matter how much he ran, or how hard he trained, he didn't have the hops or speed to make it to the next level.

You have to be born with those genes breh.

Y'all are just projecting because y'all didn't make it past high school. :stopitslime:

Lebron is blessed with physical gifts but he still has to work hard to maintain his physical form :NoHennyBron:

There's countless stories of would've, should've, could've, athletes who didn't pan out because they didn't have that drive that the others did :manny:

Aren't the people at the very top of their game usually genetically superior? Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Lebron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, Jon Jones. would all fit the build.
Everybody you listed trains ridiculously hard. I mean elite level training a discipline!! Ronaldo, Bolt. They built those physical attributes they were not blessed

That has more to do with recognition. I and all my friends went to a butt fukk high school where the coaches had no connections either so no colleges were coming and sports were a waste of time for everybody who played anything. Of all track and field, volleyball, basketball, football athletes my school had, none crossed over.

Man you sound like a fool. Everybody at that level trains hard for the most part. Genetics is what wins out. There isn't a single player in a professional sport that isn't gifted genetically.
