Canada is very rascist fam... Thr last few years in Toronto has been a mind fukk. All of a sudden a bunch of 20 something white guys are spewing shyt, online, in person. Can't tell you how many arguments I've had with associates just being pricks. Now all of a sudden a bunch of "conservatives" hate all muslims, and immigrants.. Trust me Canada has issues. And lets not even talk about how natives pay $100 forna case of 24 waters. Canada is very rascist. Our image that we present to the rest of the world is the opposite though.

Oh trust me I've heard a lot more "why should I pay for someone else's health bill..." nonesense latley then I care for. I am happy with the health care though. Sometimes it can suck, but when you have an accident or emergancy and don't leave the hospital with a bill oweing, I'm pretty good.

The strategy is don't talk about identity politics, talk about income inequality and government policies to remedy that situation.
It's like fukking a chic, you don't blurt out, "I want to fukk!" even tho it is the truth. Appeal to their sensibilities not yours, talk about the positive emotions you feel toward them and demonstrate them in a non-sexual way, which will lead to you getting what you want. Fukking.

This is the approach that will help DEMS get out of this current mess.

In my opinion, promoting "identity politics" will not lead to election day victories.

But that doesn't mean we should forget about the issues that affect us. We have to find ways to hold the DNC accountable for issues relating to us, while allowing them to pursue white voters with language that won't turn them away.

Alabama showed a Republican can win as a Democrat. Doug Jones has said he wants to work across the aisle and definitely open to working with Trump. He's not a progressive policy maker. And he barely beat a known pedophile.

wont proactively hurt but if that is instead of directly addressing the deep legacy of racist policies that have driven the racial wealth gap then we will simply get more of the same. mass incarceration, housing discrimination, unequal pay, unequal hiring patterns, etc. will all go unabated. i, personally wont accept a politics that wont allow me to fight for both. i am not the sacrificial lamb for poor, misguided white people

Depends on the distribution and the quality received. White neighborhoods have free public schools. Black neighborhoods have free public schools. But they are not the same. There is a game of separate but unequal still going on in this country.

In this new socialist world, more resources would have to be allocated to historically low-income neighborhoods (historically == last 50 years) for those kids in those neighborhood to catch up academically. I guessing, in this scenario, such in an influx specially allocated monies wouldn't have to go on longer than 10 years. Then neighborhoods across the nation could be receive relatively similar allocation for education for public schools. Again, pure speculation.

Bernie was doing it until the black lives matter group jumped on the podium. Then he looked stupid addressing black issues in front of an all White crowd in Iowa.

im all for socialism if we dont have to be quiet about racial justice as well. the compromise isnt worth it. we can do both also, i dont believe tamping down racial justice talk will make cacs happy anyway. they simply do not want a more socialized nation as long as we are here in substantial numbers. demographic shifts and smarter local politics is the only solution i see that hasnt been put into practice yet. the dems already dont really cater to specific black interests anymore and it is causing us to slide further down the totem pole in this country.
