The past 50 years is really the first time in western history where we see women given the opportunity to make money outside of the home. In the past, women were FORCED to stay in marriages because they simply didn't have the means to provide for themselves or their children. Marriage has always been a type of slavery for women. Now days, we don't have to tolerate abuse, infidelity, and neglect. We can just file for divorce and continue living our lives. I certainly wouldn't want to live in a time when I was forced to remain married because I couldn't afford to feed myself.
I was waiting for the feminazi logic to enter the building.
No doubt there were trife husbands and some women did not have the means to leave but that was not the rule.
Since when did honoring, protecting, and providing for your significant other equal slavery? I'll wait for you to make some justified parallels on that one..
Most divorces are filed by women and the main reason is money, not abuse, not infidelity, not any of that BS you're trying to extrapolate from the microcosm.
Also, the court system and govt, not women having money, made it easy to slide out of a marriage for any reason they deemed fit, all via child support/govt assistance/ and alimony, at the expense of their ex husbands.....Financial sponsorship encourages women to have no accountability in a lot of these divorces/situation
This kind of proves my point actually. I know broads who got divorced simply because marriage was boring to them...No more, No less...And guess who still has to sponsor their lifestyle even though they don't want to be full time mothers...?
You can't really find a point in history, especially western civilization, where women were mistreated as a whole.
You were always pampered, provided and cared for for the most part and now you got the govt and court sytem completely on your side.
We are completely self absorbed now and will absolve ourselves of any obligation, just because we no longer want to participate...No more, no less...
You need to expound a little further on this women's oppression you speak of..
