She's right in terms of the black community but wrong in the white community. She's realizing that we socialize around poverty but don't wanna live there. Her education gains her friends and associates but her education in they field doesn't impress cacs.

Now she's dealing with other blacks on a non social level and she's getting killed.

She did well in terms of how to move but did poorly beyond that.

She has status in the black community due to her degree, her degree means nothing in white corporate America especially in they field.

Her social mobility means nothing once she leaves the community.

Put it this way, alot of us make money and you seen nikkas at body making 6 figures who have good education, looking good and acting ghetto since that's how most of us socialize.

Once you leave and enter into white America her social status her degree brought her means nothing and she's unable to move.

We socialize around poverty but don't wanna live there, making money is a bit more complex than just getting any old degree.

She's experiencing real American Life, not the social status she got around her friends with her degree and she's seeing the degree.

We as blacks can't move around socially without education or a solid hustle.

Whites, Asians and others, even the lower income ones have more social mobility than we do.
