All he need to do is drop one tape going over some beats. No rules in the mixtape game when it comes to production. He could drop a classic on nikkas. Imagine him over some Harry Frauds, Thelonius Martins, Freddie Joachims and some more shyt.

He's a dude who would rather drop his heat on the album. That's what works for him. The one time he did do a mixtape it was just a mix of new mixes for songs, older songs, and joints not going to be on untitled. Plus again, he doesn't need to. As long as he sticks with NO I.D., I'm straight

Life is Good was dope as fukk. I just see a mixtape being much nicer
But I think because he comes from the generation that said your ALBUM needs to be dope and your album is ultimately what represents you, he doesn't need to adapt to that. I think most of Nas' fans know that its never his emceeing that creates wack material, its his beat choice. So as long as he sticks with the right producers, he will keep making dope albums. I know on the internet it doesn't always seem like it but son has been very very consistent since 01 and has been on quite a run. Streets Disciple was bloated but had tracks on it that are very very dope and just suffered from double LP syndrome. Untitled had dope tracks on it too and is a good album but I wouldn't say it's a great album and Hip Hop Is Dead is in the same category. Stillmatic, God's Son and Life is Good are three of his best albums in his career and song for song, he's put out some of the greatest songs of his career since 01

NOTHING will motivate Jay to drop some heat. He's around too many yes men now and his albums are commercials for tie ins...Budweiser for Kingdom Come, American Gangster for American Gangster, Roc Nation for BP3 and of course Empire State of Mind was sold everywhere and this last album was Samsung
