Wheat and Tares my dude, read your bible (book of genesis) and quran. Man (adam) is the most favored creation of I am. Adam was made in god's image and was/is righteous by nature. This bothered some (1/3rd) of the heavenly host who were already seduced by the dragon we know as the devil. The satans were jealous and the serpent amongst them already active in the heavens and aware of the plan for christ banged eve, and polluted the human dna. You have cain (devil seed) and abel/seth (god seed). We have a choice to overcome the devil inside of us and live our lives the way god intended us to. The tares love to spread misinformation as well as question the most high in blasphemous ways.

God never forces anyone, or being to do anything, only to accept the repercussions when his patience has run it's course. If God is so unloving, why would he allow the beast to hold court in his presence day&night and present his petty cases against humanity. Why would he release watcher's from the heavens and allow them to become human, even if he knew of their diabolical plans ahead of time.

Atheists and the rest of the tares will keep their heads up speaking hubris/blasphemies and turn their faces away from God at all times even while the wheat bow down in humility at the time of the harvest

To the OP-I dedicate Proverbs 8:13 to you

The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

Great website for atheists wanting to know more about Christianity and the God Christians serve.

ETA: Not sure if y'all get my point. I'm a Christian and I came across this website when I was having doubts about my religion last night. I found this answer to a question that I, and several other former/current atheists and agnostics ask in an attempt to discredit the belief of God.

Because sometimes you really have to love someone to let go of them.

Do you know what eternal torment is? Do you think eternal torment is reasonable punishment for all range of sins?

First of all, we're talking about a lifetime of sinning. Secondly, hell isn't eternal, it's just so long it may seem like that. But God says all His servants will submit, willingly (in this life, by choice) or unwillingly (through a purification process called hell).

But this doesn't mean God doesn't love you. If anything that means you don't love yourself.
