Im stuck in middle ga till i can get a new job :yeshrug:
Savannah is actually dope as fukk tho. I could easily live in SAV. I'd cop one of them old row houses in the hood where it's still kinda cheap and fix it up. Savannah may be small but it packs a big punch culturally. It's got more going on and less of that boring shyt in it than other cities in the south 2-3 times its size like Charlotte and Nashville. SAV is like a smaller New Orleans and with the way it's set up it actually looks more like a big city or some up north shyt than even ATL is. If you spend time in SAV you will enjoy yourself. Don't care where you from.

Macon is pretty ratchet. It's small like SAV but it's your typical southern city. Poor ass Black folks with an area of rich ass Cacs. Used to go basketball camp down there. It's not that bad just off the fact it's so many Black folks down there. Always cool to hang with your own regardless of its city or country. One thing really interesting about Macon is how it's one of those fall line cities where 30 minutes north it's a temperate forest and 30 minutes south it's damn near tropical with the palm trees and Spanish Moss

Only been to Columbus once. Seemed like a boring ass military town. Had no interest in going back

Augusta looks like it should be in Ohio somewhere and pretty much ditto for everything that Macon is about

Athens is cool as fukk for the Cacs

And don't the mountains are ok if you into camping and don't mind being around some Deliverance looking Cacs every now and again

fukk what y'all brehs say about GA. We the most diverse state out chea. We got big urban cities, we got mountains in the north, we got swamps and tidal marshes on the coast and then we got good ol southern dirt road shyt in the south

The reason I made this thread is because 95% of my mom's side of the family lives in Columbus and I'm wondering how the fukk they can stand living down there. :trash:

The irony is that I have one cousin who's always asking me how I deal with Atlanta traffic when it takes her an hour and a half to commute to a minimum wage job that's 4 miles away on the bus because low wage jobs are all she can find in that bumfukk town. Pure comedy.

Yeah I can't really speak on it cuz I only been there once but Columbus looked like it had nothing to offer. Everybody I met worked for Aflac or was in the army. And I think it's the 2nd biggest city in GA but you never really hear about it compared to SAV, MAC or AUG. That probably should tell us something.

Decatur a different city but that's still Atlanta tho. It's not even really considered a suburb. Decatur is basically still inner city

Savannah is good for tourist but sucks to live unless you are an entrepreneur or military/work for gulf stream.

SAV popping for logistics tho. That port down there doing numbers. I heard if you on that warehouse tip you can eat good down there. And it's only getting bigger. I think they trying to make that port one of the largest on the east coast. I could fukk with it. The hoods are  but they got enough outdoor shyt to do where it wouldn't be too bad. Breh just being on the water is enough for me. Folks who grow up on the coast don't sweat it but to a dude like me I could just sit there and look at it all day

yea forgot about the ports, but thats a hard labor job and I`m good on that as the Project Manager and other white color jobs related to the ports are much less.

ATL…overly
If you're educated, liberal, value access to culture and entertainment, GLBT, single past the age of 20 and don't want to date some trashy washed up single mom, or otherwise live a non-status quo lifestyle, basically Atlanta, Athens, and Savannah are the only parts of the state I'd recommend ever stepping foot in.

Athens during football season for UGA is fun as shyt, bar hopping, tailgating, rivalries, college girls :banderas: great place to be from August to Nov

Savannah is dope as fukk...my fam has timeshares in Hilton Head Island, SC so it's a 30-45 drive to Savannah and it's one of my favorite Southern cities period. After that :yeshrug: let's be real Macon, Columbus, Rome is some shyt cities breh, we better off claiming Chattanooga, they right on the border :heh:

Hard labor? Breh that's one side of it yeah. But you also got folks coming out of Ga Southern with Logistics degrees getting offers before they even graduate making 60K + with trucking and rail companies all tied into that port. That's not bad for a school like Southern. Dont sleep breh. Some of them folks down there eating. Folks who know will turn down a better school just to get a logistics degree from there all to end up down there at the port. They growing so much that it's really easy to get on. And if that's what you want to do then that way makes a lot of sense.

:scust:North Georgia is pretty much trash period. The woods are cool with the parks and shyt but the cities and towns are run down as fukk. Dahlonega and Helen str8 cuz of the tourist money but they both cheesy as fukk. The rest of that shyt like Rome, Dalton and Gainesville is just dirty ass white people with some country ass Mexicans who chase fat white women.

Moved there and quickly saw that it wasn't the case. fukk what you got to say breh. I lived there for a year in that boring ass town. The money was stupid easy but it was so wack id rather come home and work harder.
