I think it's more from his family situation of his father being a basehead, his mother being a racist towards him and siblings even though she messed with black dudes and his brothers hustling. But ain't nothing hood about G-burg. MoCo and HoCo, two of the top richest suburban counties in America in Maryland, have their little Section 8 areas. But Section 8 in MoCo or HoCo means a slightly older three bedroom townhouse from the 70's in a quiet suburban neighborhood. No old ass house from the 40's, no tall ass NYC style brick fortress project with pissy elevators, no lead paint, no bars on the windows, nothing boarded up. Even Potomac, one of the richest towns in MoCo and America, has it's older Section 8 development on Scotland Drive. nikkas do a little lightweight trappin, but its not like any real project where nikkas got K's stashed in the cuts and really selling d for a living like that. True indeed. No one evens takes ese's seriously in most of the District. But Langley Park is another animal. Amigos stay killing shyt in rich ass Northern Virginia too.
