On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
In Jordan's era I don't ever recall "hating" being in the national media. Especially once he broke through.

It'd be fans who disliked certain players or teams. However, wasnt really a media push. I think the only people who really got dissed were Rodman and Barkley and it was more for off the court reasons.
You forgot that every star player who lost to the Bulls were labeled losers back then, even to until this day. Barkley, Mailman, Ewing, and to a lesser degree GP, all still get made fun of for not having rings.

They also hated the Detroit Pistons big time, in EVERY type of media outlet. Isiah Thomas is still hated because he was one of the leaders along with Laimbeer, that was almost 40 years ago.

Those are two examples of media pushes that lasted up until today.

“Hating” started in the late 90s with Puff. There wasnt a media push around that.

He sounds crazy

I’ll take some old nikkas saying I’m top 5 all time just not 1 of if I get to take in millions upon millions off the court because I’m marketed as one of the faces of the NBA.

Our generation soft as fukk
There’s a “strength” in accepting someone’s hard work being dismissed?

NBA media is toxic culture

Great point. I don’t even fully agree with Bron but the fact they they spent so much time on this topic on First Take instead of all the great basketball that happened last night gives more credence to Bron’s point

Not only was the Denver vs Bucks game a great one, Steph drops 56 points literally on the same day from his legendary performance against OKC 9 years ago and it was basically a footnote in the whole discussion. That’s an easy storyline to prop up but instead they chose to spend majority of their time on this shyt
First mistake was thinking First Take of all places would not go for click bait. SAS knows how to talk NBA but he knows his brand is yelling about click bait topics.

SOHH he lost 2 of 3 Finals against a guy who they say is a career underachiever? Not looking too good for the "GOAT"
lol you trolling. This is like saying lebron lost to Klay Thompson and steph lost to kevin love in 2016. Steph not even held to the same standards lebron is yet he on lebron level? Because he had great teammates around him, the same shyt that lebron gets criticized for? Oh ok

SAS about to go crazy

They really opened what was supposed to be the pregame lead-in for Cavs-Celtics with like ten minutes of them talking about this shyt just so Stephen A could insinuate that him talking about players in general is a level of respect and appreciation in and of itself, and then get off a another vague ass "You know what who did you know what with you know who, but we'll keep that between me and you" ass threat. :dead:

Only truly great teammate Steph had was KD and depending on the narrative he was just a sidekick and Steph was him or Steph wasnt the best he rode KD to two rings. LeBron diicksuckers are flip flopping idiots
