The first thing Trump did when he was in office was target DEI and anything that remotely benefited African Americans.
It's almost like some of ya'll just now started paying attention cause he's directly affecting your people.

yall always run to those words "fear" and "scare" when im posting facts, history, and reasoning on my logic.
yall think its brave and courageous to ignore racist cacs seizing more control of your country, erasing Black historical figures, closing down avenue for economic mobility, polluting Black neighborhoods?
Donald Trump and the Republicans are now part of the protected class. You can spend years railing against white people, talking about how the system is racist, America is racist, etc but now that a white supremacist admin has come in disrupting anything that vaguely resembles a favorable policy to black people they are not to be talked harshly about.
Reason? The special herb and spice blend of anti-immigrant sentiment and homophobia speaks louder than the dangers the Republicans pose. We can assume Democrats were going to do us dirty but we should let Republicans cook. Thats what I have gathered. To say otherwise is “fear mongering.“

Black folks are always on the menu, but I think most Black people do not believe that we will be targeted for deportation or the stripping of citizenship when the President argued the 14th amendment was designed for the children of Freedmen.
Of course, this mfer lies likes he breathes so his disingenuous argument for eliminating birthright citizenship should be taken with a huge grain of salt. I imagine that the play is to lock the vast majority African Americans into menial and agricultural jobs (Trumps "Black jobs") while restricting access to elite private and public institutions that afford the opportunity to effect policy changes.
All while shutting down any other avenues for Black advancement (elite and otherwise). Sadly, I think a more draconian Crime Bill is on the way regardless of the stats on violent crime decreasing.

Ostensibly trump and his administration have already done plenty to harm the black community. I don't know why deporting us is like this "well as long as he doesn't do that I feel good to laugh about immigrants" kind of deal. Cutting hbcu funding, whitewashing history, etc. Who cares if ICE isn't knocking and again that can't be completely ruled out.

Either you not built for that conversation or you already have fear in your heart. Its the latter when it comes to Trump or ws because these demons are fairly simple and haven't changed for hundreds of years.
