I never understand how some Jet fans stay pining for Braylon Edwards to be signed ANY TIME another team releases him. They stay thinking it's still 2010 when he was simply average... like the rest of his career.

That's exactly what these stans always say about their HERO. No matter what they still think their boy "can still play" and deserves a spot on a hot team thats about to make a run. You all forget about chemistry and how some of these players still refuse to recognize that they are no longer the dominant player they once were and need to take a lesser role. Mind you i'm not talking about Moss here. But typical stans of players like Moss and TO and AI.

There's a reason I mentioned Moss and not anyone else. I'm fully aware of the bridges that were burned by the likes of AI, TO, and Chad. However, Randy clearly didn't fukk up to the extent that they did, because he wouldn't have gotten that SF chance had he done so.

TO and AI, I understand. But I dont think Chad has fukked up to that extent tho.

His problem is Chad STILL wants the spotlight on him at all times. He cant help himself. I'm a Dolphins fan and when he came to camp with us he was talking all this shyt just to be in front of the camera but he was clearly NOT the best receiver in camp. He was merely a shell of his former self. I was excited when we signed him but after watching a few practices and the first preseason game I had to admit dude is done.

And trust me I'm a fan of all of those guys (except AI) and wish them well but I'm not delusional enough to not see it when they have clearly declined.

Randy is my guy and always will be. It's over breh. Of course he can still play. A lot of guys can play. He is nowhere near the guy that we saw in Minny or NE though. That guy is gone and isn't coming back and I for one am not trying to watch a shell of him play 4th receiver for somebody. If he was anywhere close to top form there is no way he has such a limited role in SF last year or that they let him go and trade for Boldin. The nikka knew he was done 2 years ago. He came back tryna get a ring. Damn near got it too but he didn't and he rightfully moved on. We gotta do the same.
