mind you, i hated drake....but there isn't a new nikka in the game who's lines are as clever and witty with that touch of reality that he brings.

the reason i did that was because this was around the time my disapproval for drake was at it's peak....and most of the time it was unwarranted. my excuse was that he "didn't really rap he just sang"

the point is that as a fan of the culture we can change, despite nothing drastic really changing about drake. i just happened to give it a chance. i'm just sharing. what is your point?

Personally, I have never really paid attention to Drake's music, but I put in the same category as TQ and similar RnB cats...

They sing like they rap, and rap like they sing, and they have the talent to pull it off...

I just like my rappers nonchalantly violent and ignorant, so I don't mess with "soft" sounding music...

i think he's a half decent spitter but just doesn't appeal to me at all. i downloaded So Far Gone back when it came out but i couldn't get into it, just not my shyt. his blatant bullshyt talk doesn't help.
