Why’s Dr Dre not fukking with The Game?

First rapper to sell over gold in first week sales.:ehh: He certainly has an argument.
There is more to being a star than sales. I would argue LL was a megastar whose success in music paved the way for him to become a pop icon before Snoop. He went on to carve out a career in Hollywood, starring in a well received sitcom and continuing in other successful projects to this day. Snoop has become a personality nowadays, more court jester than musician. I don’t take him seriously at all.

Aftermath half-time performance in LA and no The Game? They did him dirty.

I was just listening to Game’s discography again recently and he might be the most underrated rapper ever. His antics and the feminine fakkit Wack100 who’s always in everyone’s business aside - Game was that guy.

50cent x The Game x Mary J Blige - Hate or Love It would’ve shut shyt down. I feel for him.

did him dirty how?

it was Dre’s show. In theory he could’ve performed 5 of his solo songs (like The Weeknd) and kept it moving. He doesn’t owe game a damn thing.

Game is a fukking liability and his dealings with Wack make him automatically toxic. That comes with shytty optics that no sponsor will tolerate.

Meanwhile everyone who performed has bigger songs than Game. The most well known Game songs are 50’s records that were gifted to him — per the request of Dre.

If anyone should’ve got an invite, it should’ve been Cube or Warren G

Game did it to himself. He didn’t belong on the Superbowl Stage because he doesn’t have the career or the connects of the 5 artists who Dre chose.

Even eliminating Eminem from the equation because he was included solely as white America’s all time favorite rapper; 50 Cent’s In Da Club is a bigger song than any song Game has ever released. Snoop Dogg is a THIRTY YEAR Icon and arguably rap’s first megastar, Mary J Blige is also a THIRTY YEAR ICON and the biggest R&B artist of her era, and Kendrick Lamar is a wunderkind whose last album was the BIGGEST selling album of that year and made him the ONLY RAPPER EVER to win a Pulitzer Prize.

What does Game have competing with any of that? A rape case, a manager who himself would rather be alllllll in the videos, and a partridge in a fukking pear tree
Come on now:gucci:
Easy E, practically birthed that nigguh.

I think it has to do with some friction between Game, Dre or Em. Seems like after the Documentary they wiped their hands clean with him. Game also said he recorded a diss to Dre before. So their relationship isn’t as solid as before. But he also got verses from Dre not long ago.

What percentage of the demographic would have been like “ :damn::ohlawd: THE GAME!!”

at the end of the day dude was never a superstar like that. In Da Club is a song that still gets people hyped 20 years later..and it'll be around 20 more years after that. If it was that big of a snub he would’ve been trending.

i know dudes on here love his discography but you have to separate personal preference from the reality of the situation :manny:
