I don’t think most has ever worked with children or in/with the educational system anywhere in the states.

Black children have the path of most resistance when it comes to education. I mean seriously you all have read the stats. You all constantly post about how funds are constantly taken from schools that are majority black.

MS literally had the Feds in Cleveland, MS not less than a decade because Cleveland High was still borderline segregated.

And most posts are still blaming “black culture” not “American culture ” that’s been practiced for centuries :snoop:

GOP in TN literally just threatened to take funding from predominantly black counties because someone wants them to do something about gun

Look at the laws in Texas, Florida, more families specifically black ones either don’t have resources.

So I ask again: what do we do to close the gap? Malcolm already told us, the stats are telling us. And history shows and tells us when someone sets a precedence, it's to start a pattern. What now? If nothing can be done, what should perspective parents do or shouldn't do? Do we NOT have children? Do we do charter schools? Homeschooling? Repatriate? Did you not see my post on the Baltimore schools? :picard::hhh:

No I didn’t see your post. Link it

But I don’t know. It’s so many variables that are causing the things to get worse. There’s no one dude fits so that will change things.

Schools are underfunded…
Teachers are underpaid…
There are a lot of bad teachers…
Most parents don’t teach their children basic skills…
Most parents work 40+ hours and don’t have the time because 1. They have multiple children and can’t focus on 1 or more that needs assistance 2. Are underpaid so they do spend more time away from home…

Mann what Malcolm said was right… what stats say are right… I’m not for charters but I understand why they exist.. it’s so much

You gotta have a better answer than that, my guy. We're sending our kids to slaughter. "I don't know" won't cut it.

:picard: @ Baltimore schools. I don't think it's this bad in Haiti.

I’ve watched a few those already. So I did see your post. Man I’m MS I can’t began to tell something’s I’ve witnessed… I’ve tutored I’ve helped campaigned for better funding at schools.. my mom created a nonprofit created after school programs where we write grants for programs. I was also a BACB who sometimes worked for free when I shouldn’t have… it’s not a simple answer

The biggest obstacles I’ve faced and dealt with were systems that were in place which made it difficult for everything I’ve stated… then after it’s the environment most children are born into.

Do you have any plans to fix what’s going on? Because you’re speaking on mass overhauling and replacing and individuals and a system that is designed economically from eduction to healthcare to make things tough for poor individuals

That takes community and aid to do. What’s your solution cause posting videos and constantly speaking on issues doesn’t fix anything

I went to school in a few different states growing up and some of them were easier to learn in than others.

I was a straight A student taking advanced classes in GA. Below average in Ohio. above average in TX.

In GA they seemed to have real curriculicum and teachers used various methods to teach. Lecture, lab, trips, games, etc etc( this in same in 4 different schools i attended there)

In OH teachers seemed to mainly just read the textbook to us, then test us on it. and that was it. (this was the case in 2 schools i attended there)

In TX they also just quizzed and tested us from textbook, but they would tell us some times verbatum what questions to expect to see on the tests. (only attended the one school)
