He knew he was wrong. He froze up because he had no excuse. Even if he wasn't cheating and they genuinely just wanted to hang out platonically, he knew the optics were bad.

He should've just said "I'm sorry" to the friend, gotten up and then looked at his wife and said "we need to talk" and walked out of there. She'd follow him and at least he's not getting ho'd out in public and humiliating his work friend who may not even have been feeling him like that.

Understand a couple of things. Actually, understand 1 thing. Women move differently to men.

Do you really think she would not know whether or not someone she works with is married when she's on a date with him. It is not going to happen. Pay attention to what goes on around you to see that they rely on their network to uncover as much information about potential matches as possible.

She presented him with 2 outs. The first was that they're friends and then she moved to work friends. Her demeanour changed because she had a camera in her face.

Chances are her colleagues are already chatting shyt behind her (I have seen this play out countless times). Now there is footage that people can pull up to say "You're homewrecker".

I mean I get it. I had a similar conversation with an older female friend of mine. She’s in her 40s and her husband is in his 50s. She’s constantly horny and he’s not so she says she gets it in on the side and he’s none the wiser, but still…just as many people get caught as there are sneaking around. Divorce rates ain’t skyrocketing for nothing. Just seems like a lotta stress for nothing.
:yeshrug:If it’s gonna be like that then people just need to be honest with one another, put their pride to the side and have open relationships. Go elsewhere from time to time to get your fix and but have a home base. That takes all the rage and emotion out of it IMO. But sneaking around and making people feel lonely and betrayed…that shyt ain’t the move.
What if she’d showed up with a shotgun? Theres a story everyday about some dude or chick killing their cheating spouses and sides. Times are too dangerous to play these reindeer games.
