It is your choice to believe this. I on the otherhand would not stick around in a marriage for this sort of shenanigans if my wife tried to convince me to stay for a baby she had from an affair or child she had previously that she lied and stated was not her child. I would also advise my daughter to divorce a man who brought on a child from his affair or previous relationship into their home and lied about who the child really was to him.

I believe that some acts are beyond the pale and should not be accepted. Lying about the paternity of a child is one of those acts.
