Turning one tiny sentence on a phone call into a whole ass confrontation is ridiculous.
It sounds like it was the "are you sure he's not there" that set her off. That was ridiculous.

She told them OP aint there. That should be the end of the convo. They made into more than what it was probably going to be.

She did right.

I mean that was a stupid way to reframe the question. What was she gonna say “oh hold on I must’ve missed him.. when you said that I see he is here in the corner” da fuq. But yeah driving all the way over there was excessive. Now they likely to do some smart shyt like when people request for overtime they gotta follow the Raizan Rule and ask their significant other.

So she didnt think to tell you about the interaction at all and took it upon her self to go down to the job?
It did not occur to her at all to speak to you first?
Instead you get blind sided at work while looking like your wife needs to come and fight your battles.
You think any of this was good decision making on her part?

Aight :sas2:

So. Cal
Got called into the assistant superintendent's office once I got to work yesterday over something that happened over the weekend. On Saturday, the shift lead called my house regarding possible overtime, but I was asleep. My wife answered the phone, and told them I wasn't there, and to call back later.

The shift lead then asked my wife if she was "sure that I wasn't there."

My wife said she was sure and then hung up the phone.

Now you have to understand that I didn't hear about any of this until after the fact. So Sunday, my wife is out grocery shopping and she decides to stop by my job and speak with one of the on-duty supervisors. This couldn't have been a spur of the moment decision since we live in Aurora, and my Job is in St. Charles. She managed to speak with one of the supervisors, and told him that they need to be respectful when they call the house, and she didn't appreciate them questioning her about where I was or where I wasn't.

He had no idea what she was talking about, but told her to file an ethics or procedural complaint if she felt that strongly about it. To her credit, she was respectful but she got her point across. The assistant superintendent wasn't happy about any of this and wanted me to let my wife know that if she had a problem, in the future, a phone call would work. She also said that the supervisor who made the call to my house would be talked to.

I was annoyed at first, since I didn't know any of this going in, but the more I thought about it, the more proud of her I became. Drama notwithstanding, (her appearance has already become the talk of the building) my wife felt she was justified since she felt disrespected, and I can't say she was wrong.
Is she fat? A tranny? The people need to know :lupe:
