Honestly, the ONLY reason I wouldn't propose to a man I was dating is because I wouldn't want him to feel pressured. Men have more of the trouble signing up for marriage and long term commitment, I guess I'd have to know 100% that he was ready and wanting to do something like that.

but regarding the concept I always thought it was some bullshyt that you see on today's Babylon filled TV programming..the woman proposing to a man until I saw it live for myself

during when I did warrior dash as I was waiting to scale over this big ass wall, I was choppin it up with this white girl for a bit..she mentioned that she had her bf waiting for her at the finish line..she said as soon as she crossed the finish line and see him, she was going to get down on one knee and propose..showed me the ring and everything..in my mind I was like , verbally I was like that's whassup...pretty much kept up with me the rest of the course so I was right there when she actually did it at the finish line ...shyt was so weird to watch...thankfully my gf also shares my old school beliefs about marriage proposals so she wont dare try that with me lol
