Graphics are important, but not over gameplay. Gameplay will keep gamers coming back.

I understand that but there's not really much games where it's graphics are amazing and the gameplay is broken and/or "unfun" to the majority.

People secretly hate Nintendo on here. So what if they make kids geared towards families? As long as they fun, is all that I care about. Variety is great in life, and videogames as well. Can't be playing the same first or third person shooter or sports 24/7.

Best to let Nintendo do their own thing and put their own twist into things. Gives kids imaginations to build off of. And while people are in denial or hate them outright, they are single handily saving the gaming industry from stagnation.

I have not talked out of my ass about review scores. In most threads about reviews I've said the words in the review are more important than the scores.

I think reviewers score games in a way to not upset the rabid Internet fans. One thing gets said about a game and that permeates through the minds of the reviewers and they repeat it. A lot of reviewers don't even play through the entire game before slapping on a score, and even if they do play the entire game, they don't have enough time to get the most out of the games.

A Mario game will never get a bad score just like Halo game won't.

This thread was more about the overreaching theme that the wii u has the best gaming experiences this Christmas, cause it got one new Mario game

Nope,and realizing that Sony is basically copying off of M$ with the franchises that contain guns and it and the severe lack of JRPGs from the PS3 era onwards.

Japan wasnt making what the people wanted RPG wise. Alot of games just lacked imagination.
