Loool thought my grandad was the epitome of a God Fearing Husband And Father of 7 until my mum told me that when my grandma went to take care of her car insurance, she found out dude bought her and his mistress the exact same car the exact same colour

😂 Real scumbag, Still love you tho Baba RIP

Interesting fact about my dad's mum she comes from a family of actual Albinos, although she herself had some pigmentation so her eyes and hair came out red. They used to call her Red 😅

I've heard some many stories about from people about "Grandpa, having another family on the other side of town"

My grandfather on my moms side was a god fearing man, very humble and quiet. Just loved being in his big garden and worshipping the lord.

Every once in a while he’d drink a bit too much and get super happy. He’d call the operator on the phone and try and call France to the city he was stationed in during WW2.

He would tell stories about how they ended up on the front lines once during a bombardment and there so many bullets in the air he said it looked like they were in a hurricane the way the leaves on the trees were blowing.

Also said how they’d March into these small villages and the French people would run up them with bread cheese and wine and give them hugs.

He came home and became a tailor. He had a ton of customers that were in the mafia, they would request him by name.

He died on a hospital bed laughing and telling a joke to the nurses.

Black people were more conservative back then. Couples had "arrangements" back then but it was a unspoken thing.

My grandfather grew up on a potato farm in the prairies. As a kid, every year when the pig would have a litter, he'd befriend the litter of the runt. He'd treat it like his dog, play with it, give it a name. Then the next year before school he'd take it to the butcher and sell it for school money.

Same grandfather built a doorway for some Hells Angels biker club, this actually right down the street from me. They're a smaller club now. Anyways, the door apparently have steel rods in it that go over a foot down into the ground, so you can't just boot the door. Then you come in and there is a c-wall. So even after someone breaks the door down they still have to maneuver around a tight wall before entering who knows what.

Both of my grandparents had these. I don't know why these were so common :pachaha:

Mother's side grandfather chose our family branch. Fathers side grandfather (one from previous story) chose the other branch, but quickly changed his game plan when my aunt had that doctor gig. Threw the other family in the bushes :wow:

@RehReh fair point on the bills. But it's worth noting the distribution of bills was drastically different depending on which family they liked more. It didn't seem like an even split. For example, my father despised his father for the longest time cause he arbitrarily stopped paying for things in my fathers household because of woman2. And only came back to pay for random things when it was convenient in my fathers household

My grandmother on my mothers side was know for not takin no shyt, even if there was no shyt to be taken.

One day she takes my mother and her siblings to the grocery store. Comes home and a (white) neighbors car is parked infront of there house.

She sent one of the kids over to the neighbors so they can ask if they could move the car so its easier to bring the groceries in. In short they got told no and my grandmother got pissed.

Everybody in the family knew she kept a revolver (break action) in her purse with pearl handles.

She went and grabbed it, came outside, saw the neighbor standing in the yard , pulled up the gun to point it but when she pulled the trigger it wouldnt fire. Neighbor obviously ran in the house after that. She kept the gun in her hand and went back in the house, down into the basement , pulled the trigger and it fired. Nobody called the people or nothing , that car definitely got moved though.
