I think they miss the playoffs because of Rodgers, frankly. Could be 100% wrong but...he looked done last year. People gonna say "but he didn't have a good offense" but...he was missing open guys. He was throwing bad INTs. Generally looking flustered. I think this is gonna end up being an ugly season where they win 7-9 games and miss the playoffs as he throws his teammates under the bus.

He won BACK TO BACK MVP'S before last year. He didn't "fall off" one season later. He didn't have the same offense he's had.

I don't want the Jets making the playoffs, but Rodgers will be top five in MVP voting. He's still elite. One sub par season doesn't disprove that.

He's embraced all their young players, showed up for all the offseason work, motivated to make GB look like they made a mistake, reunited with an OC he works well with, etc - all the pieces are in place for a good season.

An unproven OL trying to protect an old QB is the biggest concern with their outlook. The thumb/toe/rib injuries all played a part in his lousy 2022 and it doesn't get easier to stay healthy as you approach 40.

You think that means anything to :beli: when he puts his heart and soul into beating them twice?

He's at the age where he can literally fall off a year/2 years after winning MVP. That decline happens QUICK at 40.

Packers tried to keep him. Money wasnt an issue. He just didnt want to play in GB anymore.

Given his age and wear/tear I think it does tho man. I think he's falling off a cliff. Could be 100% wrong and I'm def biased as a Lions fan. But he looked bad. Reminds me of how Brady looked cooked in that last season but everyone focused on blaming the OC. People don't want to just admit what they're seeing.

Rodgers mentioned time and again on McAfee’s show how he wished the Packers were clear with him about their expectations this offseason. He said that before his darkness retreat, they had told him they’d welcome him back next season with open arms—but when he finished his retreat, their tone had changed, and people whom he trusts had told him they were shopping him around the league.

I don't even blame GB for wanting to rip the bandaid off and move on, but Rodgers is absolutely gonna want to put up a big year and throw it in their face. His grudge will always go back to the Love pick.
