AI enhances creativity, because now you can actually turn ideas into product. The guy who couldn't play the piano but had a dope idea for a tune can speak/describe it to the AI and they can actually get it close to what was in your imagination. The drawing you had in your head can actually be done.
Now, what AI does do though, is oversaturate products to the point where it won't be worth anything. In a decade, there will be so much "good" sounding music out there, you will never make a dime from it, even if it goes viral. AI makes it so that all the celebrities of today will still be the biggest celebrities a decade from now.The only people making money are the big corp record labels, and movie conglomerates. This is why the big companies are just buying whole catalogues outright, so that anything that you made that sounds like something they own, they will monetize it and take the revenue from you or sue you and shut it down.

It's curing specific types of cancer. Cancer as a concept cannot be cured because it's a bunch of different unrelated things. It's like saying you want to cure headaches. Yes Tylenol will fix one type of headache, but it won't fix a different type of headache which is caused by physical trauma, cancer, mental attophy, psychosis, hypertension , etc. so the only way to combat a headache and much the same way that you would fight cancer is to Target each of these causes individually
To give you an idea of where AI is helping;
In pharmaceutical drug design there is the idea that you have to run through different types of genetic combinations and chemical combinations in order to find a specific use case for the compound in front of you. It's a lot of trial and error and even the phds who specialize in it will miss obscure facts. And before you start an expensive 100 million dollar experiment you have to tap shoes the perfect test subject or test animal and map out it's possible reactions to the medication.
If you fed a medical textbook, a pharmacology textbook, a biology textbook, a pathophysiology textbook, and a chemistry textbook into a general intelligence AI model, then I could simultaneously run through tens of thousands of combinations every hour. And it can deduce the effects of different medical combinations. This has directly aided in the creation of mRNA solutions for specific types of cancer.
