Will America ever fall in love with muslims the same way they did with the Japanese?

I was thinking the other day, how Japan came through and crush the building back in the days in Hawaii. But moving forward a few years, Americans act like that sh!t never happen and are in love with the Japanese culture :yeshrug: They hold no resentment at all it seems

Maybe this will happen with the Muslim and a few years from now America will turn into a Muslim country :heh:

But hopefully before that happen I be on my way to Brazil

Looking back with this face

Thoughts? :mjpls:

:whoa: Love Japan? :aicmon:

My niqqa, we have been fukking them ever since WW2. ::myman:

Demilitarized them

Set up bases all over their island :scusthov:

and wont let them make a move without our permission. :sadcam:

:comeon: Thats not love.

Some of the greatest atheletes, musicians, comedians etc are Muslim

Once Muslims stop being an obstacle to American geopolitical interests, shyt will change

japan...

samurai and ninja
sushi and teriyaki chicken
anime, manga, and video games
geisha girls
studied under american mentorship since the end of the war
karate kid movie and growth of karate class industry
freaky porn
sympathy for being only people in history with nukes dropped on them
not occupying spaces Jews want to live in

there's a lot of reasons for americans to be interested in japan, muslims dont have as much going for them on the PR front

Even before we went to war to them, Japan had none of the things you listed on the "PR front" to attract us to them. With the exception of the geisha girls, and samuri/ninja, most of those things came post war.

And when they were rebuilding their civilization and started to become creative in more ways to give us the things that strongly influenced western culture.

The same thing has to happen on the Muslim front. Something needs to happen to put them in the same motivation to get in the same creative space and Renaissance period that Japan went to.

For the past decade, belly dancing has become even more popular but that seems to be more related to Shakira, and EVEN so, that could arguably said to be more related to the Middle East as a whole.

i think he's talking about the general american perception of japn..of course we treat them like dikcs but most americans think of japan as the lovable crazy techno anime cousin ... now the thing about muslims is you got a small minority that ruins everything for them...

you're basically talking about the end of conservative islam

and japan had more things i mentioned pre-war or some primordial form. their cuisine and their woodblock print art ("shunga" could be a contributor to both their freaky porn and their proclivities toward manga/anima/video game production) what japan didnt have was meaningful cultural exchange with us prewar. some of that was political/cultural, the rest technological.

might as well add full body tattoos, calligraphy, haiku, zen buddhism which contributed to the western "self help" and enlightenment movement

japan simply has so many aspects of their culture that can be turned into commodities that it makes perfect sense why they have the second largest economy.

furthermore, it is kinda hard to compare one country to an entire religious empire. i cant imagine most islamic nations have a history of belly dancing or tales of magic carpet rides, and of each islamic country, japan seems to dwarf them in terms of packagable, interesting culture.

God damn you ethered me :wow:

Take it easy breh. But you right Japan as a culture is absolutely beautiful. We have even seen them bring their art style onto something like Kanye's "Graduation" album. They killing folks in so many aspects.

Good point with the tattoos I did not even think about that.

It seems that the best chance the Muslim world has of having their own "Japan" is the continued rise of Dubai. But even Dubai just seems like an advanced country, but at the same time does not really has anything that stands out about it that makes it unique if you understand what I am saying.

I know in mankind we have always for decades said "there is nothing more we can do" in terms of inventions, but I honestly believe because of how much Japan usurped dozens of countries over the world over the past 50 years in terms of culture and technology........I cannot see how the Muslim world or better yet one specific country can have as big as an impact.

The only way is that the youth and their children would have to start a new culture and be more progressive minded.

What do you think about the "Islamic Banking" idea I had though? That is already in some areas to service Muslim Americans. I think it is pretty much the primary thing that has the best chance over here.

i actually bought a physical copy of graduation because of the cover art and poster...

dubai is interesting because it seems so phony. the last word that comes to my mind when i think dubai is "culture". i only think about money.

i've heard somebody talk about "islamic banking" before like it was a distinct form of banking, but i have no knowledge of it. i would have to look it up before i can even speak on it. if it is useful, i suspect it might just get taken and not really attributed to arabs or muslims the way nobody really thanks islamic culture for algebra. i would say that things that can be enjoyed outside of a cultural context, like algebra or banking, are at risk of being adopted by americans without actually being attributed to arabs or muslims. i suppose one could make the case that algebra and admiral didnt get associated with arabs is because they entered european usage centuries ago, and that now in this digital age, everything is documented and sourced better, so maybe loss of cultural attribution is not a big deal anymore...i dont know

either way, this is slim pickings as cultural exports go
