Because it's way past due. He done blessed us for years with the classic Outkast records and his guest appearances. But i wanna see if he can hold it down on his own album. I've been anticipating this for years but don't see it happening. With all the hype surrounding it, it would be bound to disappoint anyway. But i just wanna hear an album with like 15 cuts on it with him just rapping the whole time. Hell i'd be satisfied with if i could hear a new Outkast album.

To me he's so overrated 
fukk all that. He's in my fave 5 and it seems very fair to me after he's blessed us with album after album of premium quality emceeing even if it was along Big Boi.
Whether we'll ever see a hip hop solo album from 3k is anyone's guess, but one thing I can guarantee you is a nikka like him will NEVER just rap again. His creativity will get the best of him for better or for worse and there will DEFINITELY be some singing parts, some weird ass skits, etc.
As long as it's 75% actual rapping I'd be cool.
Now I don't know how valid this is and I can't even remember my source, but I've heard Andre 3000 is currently a SERIOUS sex addict(as in he has a problem and needs rehab) and is suffering from major writer's block. Dunno if anyone here has heard anything or can make any confirmations though.
All I can is that I fukking hate seeing this nikka in movies and commercials. Nobody gives a fukk about what you shave with nikka. Get back in the studio and make some fukking hip hop. Gillette shoulda never gave this nikka money.

This nikka Andre is dope but I think he gets off on bringing fans to near audio climax before yanking that shyt away. How many remix verses has this nikka dropped that you be like "ah shyt he gonna drop a classic duns!" Then 3 months later no word on an album and you like

I almost hope he doesn't.
The internet goes nuts to some of his verses but sometimes I ask why. Some really aren't that great (See B.O.B's album / Beyonce "Party"). He can maintain his respected legacy by hand picking his features like he has been doing but a full feature length album won't excite me.
